# Setup Checklist
> Run a final check once the setup is complete. Every accessory, floor by floor and room by room, in one list.

## Intro
When you've finished setting up a property, "Review Accessories" lets you check the result in one place. It lists every accessory on a floor, room by room, so you can confirm that everything is there, in the right room and named properly.
It's designed for installers running a final check before handing a property over. It's just as useful if you've set up your own home and want to review it before you start using it every day.

## Open the checklist

2. Tap "Settings"
3. Tap "Rooms & Floors"
4. Tap "Review Accessories" at the bottom of the screen.

## What's in the list
The list shows one floor at a time. Each room on the floor has its own section, in the same order as in "Rooms & Floors".
Each room lists:
* Accessories you've added to the room, like lights, blinds and thermostats, etc.
* Speakers and media players in the room.
* Security cameras in the room.
Accessories you've hidden from the floorplan are listed too, so the list also covers everything that's only in the [Tiles view](/floorplan/tiles). Accessories restricted with [Family Sharing](/share/acl) are listed as well, because admins see all accessories in edit mode.
To check another floor, tap its name at the top of the list. Your floorplan and the Tiles view switch to the same floor, so when you leave the list you're on the floor you were checking.

## What to check
Go through each floor and look for:
* **Missing accessories.** Everything you've installed should be listed on the right floor.
* **Accessories in the wrong room.** A light listed under the kitchen should be in the kitchen.
* **Unclear names.** Residents see these names on the floorplan and in the Tiles view. Two accessories called "Light" in the same room are hard to tell apart, so give each a name that says which one it is, like "Ceiling Light" or "Reading Lamp".
* **Empty rooms.** A room with nothing in it shows "Nothing has been added to this room yet". That's fine for a hallway you don't control, but it can also mean accessories went to another room by mistake.
* **"Not in a Room".** This section appears at the end of a floor when some accessories aren't linked to any room. Tap each one and choose the room it belongs to, so it shows under the right room heading in the Tiles view.

## Fix what you find
Tap an accessory to open its settings. From there you can rename it, choose a different room, change whether it's shown on the floorplan, or delete it. Go back to return to the list, which updates straight away.
A room accessory controls a whole room, so it has no room to choose. If one is in the wrong room, delete it and add it again in the right one.

To check a single room rather than a whole floor, open the room in "Rooms & Floors" and tap "Accessories in This Room".
