# Move to Another Zendo Property

> Link your Home Assistant to a different Zendo property, for example after testing Zendo on another one.

## Intro

Home Assistant is linked to one Zendo property, and you'll rarely need to change that. You might want to if you tested Zendo on another property, or if Home Assistant was linked to the wrong one.

To link it to a different Zendo property, remove the Zendo integration and add it again. Your accessories keep working.

***

## Remove the integration and add it again

In Home Assistant:

1. Go to **Settings** > **Devices & services**, and select **Zendo**.
2. Open the menu (three dots) next to the Zendo entry, select **Delete**, then confirm.
3. Open the **Helpers** tab and delete `Zendo - Config encryption key`. It belongs to the old property, and Zendo creates a new one for the new property. Its name says `DO NOT DELETE` because every other time, you should keep it.
4. Go back to **Devices & services**, select **Add integration**, then search for **Zendo** and add it. You don't need to download it from HACS (Home Assistant Community Store) again.

## Link Home Assistant to the new property

Open Zendo on the new property. You need to be an admin of that property, with Zendo connected to Home Assistant as an administrator.

1. Tap
2. Tap "Settings"
3. Tap "Property"
4. Tap "Zendo on Home Assistant" (or "Push Notifications")
5. Tap "Set Up"

This also sets up push notifications. Push notifications can be delayed or fail to arrive, so don't rely on them alone in an emergency. By tapping "Set Up", you accept this. See [Limitations](https://docs.myzendo.com/automate/push-notifications.md#limitations).

Zendo shows "You're all set" when it's finished. If it shows "Linked to another property", the integration hasn't been removed yet.

## Update your automations

Always-on displays, people and device groups get new entities in Home Assistant, so update any automations that use them.
