Intro

Automations are one of the best features of Home Assistant, making your home truly smart. They run in the background, which is usually fine, but sometimes you want to check if an automation has run or you have guests and want to stop motion-activated lights.

With zendō, you can gain insights into your Home Assistant automations.

This feature is only available to admins.

Start/Stop an automation

  1. Tap
    (Settings)
  2. Tap “Home Assistant Insights”
  3. All your automations are listed with real-time updates on when they last ran, allowing you to quickly turn them on or off.

If you have a lot of automations, you can use the search functionality to quickly locate what you’re looking for.
