Intro

With zendō, you can watch a live-stream of all your security cameras at a glance. You can also turn on the lights in the same room to improve image quality in low-light conditions.

Setup your Security Cameras

  1. Tap
    (Settings)
  2. Tap “Edit Floorplan”
  3. Tap “Security” at the bottom of your floorplan
  4. You can now add, change or delete cameras
You can link each camera to a room in your floorplan and add an optional label to quickly identify it.
zendō supports HLS streaming. The camera player will automatically adapt to your connection speed to keep the video feed as near-real-time as possible.We recommend setting up Low Latency HLS (LL-HLS) for the lowest video feed latency.

Using your cameras

You can view all your cameras directly from the floorplan, regardless of your current floor. Simply tap the Security button. The Security view provides a snapshot of each camera, allowing for quick status checks. These snapshots refresh periodically.

Live stream

Tap a camera to open its live stream. Audio is muted by default. Additionally, you can turn on the lights in the same room to enhance image quality in low-light conditions, directly from the live stream player.
