Invite family, friends & guests
The zendō app is designed for families, friends & guests. Inviting someone to your home is as simple as sharing a link.
Intro
You can share your zendō home with other member of your family as well as friends and guests. Inviting someone is as simple as sending them the invitation link. Each link can be used multiple times, so you can send it to multiple people (e.g., in a group chat). Each link is unique and expires after 30 days for added security. You can cancel an invitation at any time, so you don’t have to worry if you’ve made a mistake or sent it to the wrong person.Invite someone as Resident
If someone lives at home with you, invite them as a Resident.- You can setup location-based automations for each Resident
- You can personalise the floorplan for each Resident using Access Control
- You can send push notifications to each Resident
Invite someone as Guest
If someone is visiting for a short period, invite them as a Guest.- You cannot set up location-based automations for Guests
- You can personalise the floorplan for Guests using Access Control but all Guests will be treated as a group (instead of per-person granular control)
- You cannot send push notifications to Guests
Invite someone
- Tap (Settings)
- Tap “People & Invitations”
- Tap “Invite People”
- Follow the instructions on the screen
Cancel an invitation
- Tap (Settings)
- Tap “People & Invitations”
- Select the name of the person you’ve invited (or select “Guests”).
- Find the invitation at the bottom of the screen, tap on it, and tap “Delete Invitation”
Remove a device (phone/tablet)
Have you noticed a device you don’t recognise? Have your guests left and they no longer need access to your home? You can easily delete their devices from your zendō home.- Tap (Settings)
- Tap “People & Invitations”
- Select the name of the Person (or select “Guests”)
- Find the device you’d like to delete, tap on it, and tap “Delete Device”
