Intro

Floorplan modes let you focus on the task at hand, keeping the floorplan free of distractions. Each mode shows only the accessories that matter for what you’re doing.

Switch modes

  1. Tap
  2. Select the mode you want: Control or Security.
When you add an accessory, the floorplan automatically switches to the appropriate mode.

Control

Control mode shows all your controllable accessories - lights, thermostats, fans, blinds, on/off accessories, and more. This is the default mode for day-to-day use.

Security

Security mode shows accessories related to safety and monitoring. You’ll see controllable accessories like Smart Door Locks and Garage Doors & Gates, as well as all your Presence Sensors and Doors & Windows Sensors.
